Vail Village
Vail has two unique on-mountain villages at its base: Vail Village and Lionshead. Exploring Vail is a must: you can ice skate in Vail Village, ski west to Lionshead, catch a drink at the top of the Eagle Bahn Gondola, or take a trip to check out the slopes at Beaver Creek, home of the 2015 FIS World Alpine Ski Championships. Cozy, without cars, the awesome mountain deployed in
front as you walk leisurely down the cobble-stone streets, the town of Vail
runs the gamut from elegant shopping, dynamic entertainment, to quick café latte’s, fine dining, and
everything in-between.
Beaver Creek Village
Beaver Creek has three distinct
on-mountain villages and two amenity-laden towns at its base. On any
given afternoon, you can ice skate in Beaver Creek Village, ski west
to Bachelor Gulch, taking a break on the patio of The Ritz-Carlton, or
take a trip to the quaint town of Edwards and browse the boutiques. Each
village setting has its own unique character and mountain setting, and traveling
around the 3 villages is easy with Beaver Creek's complimentary shuttle
service for all guests staying in Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch, and Arrowhead
village to anywhere within the resort.
